Figuring out how to upload photos to Facebook and how to manage your albums may take some time, especially for inexperienced users. Bloom offers a faster and easier way to upload your photos to Facebook. You can create a new album and upload a large number of images in a single run, just by dragging and dropping them over a desktop interface. You can also manage your uploaded photos, on the same interface, without opening your browser.

The application is free and it takes about a minute to install it. You can use it on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, without installing any additional tools or services. The hardware requirements are modest, so you can run the application even on obsolete machines.

You can log into your Facebook account on the application's user interface. Furthermore, Bloom allows you to save multiple accounts and switch between them with only a few clicks. To create a new album, you have to click the appropriate option, located on the upper part of the interface, after which you must click and drag your pictures to the central region of the window or import them with a standard Open dialog.

Before uploading your images, you can name your new album, specify a location and add a description. You can also select a different privacy setting, if you wish to allow everyone to see your photos or only your friends. When everything is in order, you can hit the Upload button, located in the lower right corner of the interface and the software will send your photos to Facebook one by one.

Videos can be uploaded as well, by going through a similar procedure. You only need to click an option, drag and drop one or more videos to the interface and click a button to upload them. It is also possible to view Facebook albums and photos on the same user interface. Besides navigating through your albums and viewing individual pictures, you can also save them on your hard drive.

Pros

You can upload pictures and videos to Facebook without launching your web browser. The software allows you to create new albums, add comments and select different privacy settings for your images. You can also mange and download your Facebook photos, on the same interface.

Cons

You can't manage uploaded videos. Bloom gives you the possibility of uploading and managing your pictures on Facebook faster and easier, from the comfort of your desktop.
